The work

Support that moves at the pace of real life.

Therapy is not about forcing yourself into a better version overnight. It is a steady conversation where your story, body, relationships, and choices can be understood with more care.

01 / GROUND

Build stability and understanding.

We begin by exploring what is bringing you to therapy and understanding the broader context of your life. Together, we create a foundation of safety, stability for the work ahead.

02 / CHANGE

Understand the patterns.

Together, we explore the deeper roots of your struggles and develop new ways of responding that support lasting change.

03 / GROW

Integrate change and move forward.

As therapy progresses, the focus shifts toward creating a life that feels more aligned with your values, goals, and sense of self.

Common questions

The things people ask first.

Can I do therapy online from anywhere in Ontario?

Yes. Sessions take place by secure video, so you can join from anywhere in Ontario. Most people connect from home, but you are welcome to choose any private space where you feel comfortable and able to speak freely.

What happens on the free 15-minute consultation?

This is a brief conversation that gives us a chance to get to know each other. You can share what is bringing you to therapy, what feels important to you right now, and ask questions. It gives you an opportunity to get a sense of how it feels to talk with me and whether working together feels like a good fit. I can also help determine whether your concerns fall within my areas of practice and whether working together would be the right next step.

Can I book a first session right away, or do I need to schedule a 15-minute consultation first?

You are welcome to book a full session without a consultation call if that feels like a better option for you. Some people find it difficult to get a sense of a therapist during a brief phone conversation and prefer to meet for a full session instead. This gives us more time to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin developing a shared understanding of what would be most helpful. Many people leave the first session with greater clarity and relief from being able to talk things through.

How much does it cost, and is it covered?

My standard fee is $170 per session. Services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist are covered by most extended health benefit plans in Canada. Coverage varies depending on your plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider directly. Receipts are provided after each session for reimbursement purposes.

Are your services covered by OHIP?

Psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP. However, they are covered by most extended health benefit plans.

How do I book?

You can start with a free 15-minute consultation or book a full session — whichever feels more comfortable for you. Appointments can be booked online through Jane, the secure booking and scheduling platform used for the practice.
